Training ProgramĀ At THENSA-DSI program
The training, held at the Premier Hotel in Cape Town from 31 July to 04 August 2023, aligned with the SAQA-accredited New Venture Creation Qualification at NQF Level 5. Its goal was to equip students with skills and strategies for success in the business world.
Training Highlights At THENSA-DSI program
Students gained insights into research, market analysis, and the development of technical, managerial, and personal skills. They also had the opportunity to present their business concepts to potential investors and experts, receiving valuable feedback.
Student Achievements
Six CUT students participated, with Masego More winning the “Most Financially Viable Business” award for Vermi Village. Aphiwe Sogiba and Bongani Tshabalala secured the “Most Innovative and Creative Business Idea” award for SBA Renewable Energy Technologies.
Future Opportunities At THENSA-DSI program
Sogiba and Tshabalala will present their business venture at the Regional Rounds of the EDHE Intervarsity Competition. This achievement demonstrates CUT’s commitment to fostering an entrepreneurial spirit and nurturing future leaders.
