Event Details | Excellence is Recognized by CUT

The 2024 Vice-Chancellor Excellence Awards took place on 05 November, recognizing individuals who have exhibited leadership, dedication, selflessness, compromise, and unwavering commitment. Prof. Henk de Jager, Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Academic and Research, praised the recipients for their remarkable achievements, highlighting their role as inspirational figures within the CUT community.

CUT Recognition and Awards

Recipients of the Vice-Chancellor Excellence Awards received a prestigious honor, coupled with a tangible benefit. Each winner was awarded a R30,000 cheque, which could be utilized to enhance their teaching and research endeavors. Additionally, winners had the option to receive one-third of the amount as a cash benefit.

CUT Faculty Recognition

The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology stood out prominently during the 2015 awards, with seven out of ten recipients hailing from this faculty. This remarkable achievement showcases the exceptional caliber of individuals within the faculty, setting a high standard for others to emulate.
