Critical Performance Areas CUT Part-Time Lap Technicians X5

• Preparation of equipment and materials for practical activities for B.Ed. and Diploma ACET students.
• Order equipment and materials for practical activities.
• Supervise and assist students during practical activities, conducting limited sessions in well-defined areas.
• Ensure the safety of students during practical activities.
• Assist academic staff with the supervision of practical activities.
• Maintain the workshops, laboratories, and equipment.

Minimum Requirements CUT Part-Time Lap Technicians X5

Academic qualifications

• B-Tech/Honours with specialization in the relevant subjects.
• An education degree will be an added advantage.

Knowledge and skills required:

• Occupational Health and Safety
• Laboratory Management
• SHE requirements and policies
• GLP (Good Workshop Lab Practice)
• Computer literacy

Experience:

• 3 years of workshop lab practical experience in relevant subjects.

Registration with professional body (if applicable)

• Registered with SACE
