The session provided a platform for stakeholders to evaluate intervention strategies for addressing the declining trend in STEM intake.

Recruitment Strategies

The Communications and Marketing section is leading collaborative initiatives across all four faculties and various support departments. This initiative aims to enhance the university’s brand awareness in the central region of South Africa and internationally in various SADC regions.

Conclusion

CUT Student Recruitment Team annual planning session has set the stage for strategic collaboration and innovative recruitment strategies to achieve Vision 2030. By focusing on STEM fields and diversifying student intake, CUT is poised to make a significant impact on the socio-economic landscape of South Africa.
