Participants from various backgrounds presented their innovative concepts, with Mr. Gareth Gericke winning in the student category for his IoT Water Monitor idea, and Mr. Allan Kinnear taking first place in the employee category for his Recyclable Nespresso Coffee Pods concept.

Innovation is not limited to university settings but also extends to schools. Abigail Bloem, a grade 9 learner from Eunice Secondary School, was among the students invited to exhibit their projects and prototypes, highlighting the importance of nurturing innovation from a young age.
