Prof. Dube Celebrates Enactus CUT Team 2nd National Championship Win.Prof. Pamela Dube, Vice-Chancellor and Principal of CUT, hosted a ceremony to celebrate the Enactus CUT team’s second consecutive national championship win. The team’s victory at the Enactus National Exposition followed a successful performance at regional competitions, where they showcased their worm farming project.

Celebratory Ceremony

Prof. Dube expressed pride in the team’s achievement, highlighting their dedication to innovation and entrepreneurship. She commended the team for embodying the university’s Vision 2030 and praised their commitment to creating a better world.

Faculty Support

Prof. Crispen Chipunza and co-faculty advisors, Dr. Patient Rambe and Maraka Lefera, were instrumental in supporting and guiding the team. Prof. Chipunza emphasized the impact of Enactus on students, providing them with valuable networking opportunities and exposure to real-world corporate interactions.

Student Empowerment

Masego More, Enactus CUT President, noted that the support and knowledge gained from Enactus had inspired them to aim higher. The program aligns with CUT’s Vision 2030, focusing on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, providing students with practical skills and experiences.


As national champions, the Enactus CUT team will represent South Africa at the Enactus World Cup 2023 in the Netherlands. Their success reflects their dedication to Enactus’ values and the university’s commitment to nurturing future leaders and entrepreneurs.
